Installation Instructions

 

 

The Sims Online Files

If you already play in one of our cities, or any of the other NON “Our Sim World”
cities , then you should already have this installed and can skip to city files below.

 

    1. The original Sims Online files are required to run our cities. Please follow the step-by-step instructions if this is your first time installing.

    1. Download TSO_Installer_v1.1239.1.0.zip & unzip
    2. Run “Setup.exe”
    3. Click “I Agree”
    4. Deselect “Place a shortcut to The Sims Online on the desktop”
    5. Installing to the default listed directory is recommended. (C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims Online)
    6. Click on “OK”
    7. Wait until the progress bar says “Installation Complete”
    8. Click “Cancel”
    9. Click “Yes”, the click “No”

     

    Our Sim World City Files 

      1. Download and install one or more of our Cities, Be sure to register if you haven’t already.
      2. Download the cities that you want to play, the installer or the zip.
        The difference is that the installer will install the game for you, but the zip is portable.

        Clothing Patch (optional)

    1. Then, choose whether you prefer regular clothing or some with nudes in it. (please note: Nude is considered NSFW)
    2. Download the clothing patch of your choice
    3. Open the Zip file
    4. Right click the New Hope icon (or the city you chose) on your desktop and Open File Location
    5. Drag and drop the gamedata folder (from your opened zip file in step 3) into the main city folder  that you opened in step 4 (Say yes to continue and It will replace the skins in the folder)
    6. Restart your game and you should have new clothes!
